    Making your Mark: Marking for the Inexperienced 

This session is aimed at Early Career Researchers wishing, or expected, to mark assessments and give feedback, including on topics unrelated to their own research.

 

This session will be interactive and explore key supports and approaches to marking and giving feedback. Attendees will gain practical advice on how to approach the task through personal and case examples, and discussion. 

Attendees will:

 

 

  •  Learn about the requirements of undertaking marking and giving feedback, including university policies and guidance
  •  Hear about recent experiences of other researchers undertaking marking for the first time, their challenges and approaches
  • Reflect on concerns and questions relating to marking and giving feedback, with others who have a similar level of experience
