Delivering an Outstanding Student Experience: NSS Improvement Framework Forums

“…develop good relationships with students, communicate consistently with them and provide a good quality course. If we are successful in doing that then good NSS results follow”

Comment from Department with high satisfaction ratings in 2017

All academic, administrative and professional services staff responsible for delivering and supporting undergraduate courses are invited to participate in the University’s NSS Improvement Framework Forums.  These are an opportunity to engage with colleagues and share good practice to improve the student experience at Strathclyde.

The forums have been developed in response to this year’s Department and School NSS Improvement Plans and will cover Organisation and Management and the Student Voice at Strathclyde.  There will also be opportunities for discussion and a question and answer session with the Deputy Associate Principals for Learning and Teaching and colleagues in SEES.

Each session lasts for appromimately one hour with time afterwards for sandwiches and discussion.

This is the 3rd and final NSS forum of 2017/18 - Reflection on NSS 2018 - Thursday 3 May 2018 - 10-11.30am

This final NSS Forum is an opportunity to share reflections on this year’s NSS and colleagues will be presenting to demonstrate the positive impact of embracing student feedback to enhance the student experience and the public profile of Strathclyde.  If you have useful reflections to share from your own Department or School activities to support engagement with NSS, please get in touch with SEES colleagues via educationenhancement@strath.ac.uk.  As before, the forum will run for approximately one hour, with time afterwards for further discussion.  Sandwiches will be provided.
