Is this course right for me?

Target Audience: t4 CMS users

The purpose of this online event is to support existing t4 CMS users as the University's t4 platform migrates to version 8.

Content:

• The t4 v8 user interface - what's changed?
• Managing existing sections and content
• The Media Library
• Building a page in version 8
• Advice for new templates users (all faculties, some users in Professional Services)
• Advice for old templates users (some users in Professional Services)

How can I watch the event?

This event will be livestreamed on the PMO Online YouTube channel.

When the event takes place, in order to watch it, you'll need to copy and paste the link into your web browser.  You can join at any time after the livestream is activated 15 minutes prior to the event start.

What equipment will I need?

You'll need either a PC, Mac, tablet or smartphone that can run a web browser (e.g. Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer) or the dedicated YouTube app.  To hear the commentary you'll need either headphones, earphones or your device's speakers.  You do not need a microphone.

How can I ask a question?

There will be a short Q&A at the end of the session.  Questions will be submitted via the Mentimeter online service.  You will receive instructions on how to do this during the event (it's easy).

Will I appear on camera?

No, you watch the livestream like any other video.

Is a Google or YouTube account required to view the livestream? 

No, there's no need to log in to Google / YouTube. 

What happens if I can’t watch the livestream? 

After the event a recording of the livestream will be available on the PMO Online YouTube channel (i.e. the link shown above).
