Target Audience: This is a mandatory training course for all Security Services Staff

To provide theoretical training regarding the University’s ‘Investigation of Fire Alerts’ procedures.

To provide Security Services Staff with a comprehensive understanding of the ‘Investigation of Fire Alerts’ procedure and impart confidence in both the arrangements and the building’s construction and fire safety related facilities.

Prerequisites

Prior to undertaking the training courses, Security Services staff are required to; Familiarise themselves with OHS Fire safety Standard, Familiarise themselves with the Risk assessment for the ‘Investigation of Fire Alerts’’, Familiarise themselves with the Standard Operating Procedure the ‘Investigation of Fire Alerts’.

Refresher Training

Training should be undertaken as part of your induction training. Refresher training should be carried out at least every three years thereafter.
