Target Audience: Staff
This event is to share information about the current work being done by staff and students at Strathclyde around the current QAA Enhancement Theme, which is 'student transitions'. There will be presentations about completed work on students' transitions into Strathclyde, as well as information about future work on transitions through and beyond the University.
The event will start at 1.30, with buffet lunch and registration from 1.00
- We will have two guest speakers from Robert Gordon University: Dr Liam Waldron (Lecturer in Student Transitions) and Ruth Wilson (Research and Impact Officer)
- Participants in five QAA-funded projects at Strathclyde will present their findings, covering a range of topics including support for staff teaching first-year students, and the development of a toolkit to support the delivery of induction and orientation
- We will be outlining further QAA funding to support the next round of projects in 2015-16, exploring student transitions through and beyond Strathclyde, and inviting colleagues to develop ideas and prepare bids in the coming months
