This is this first of three sessions for print disabled students wishing to join a pilot which will explore the benefits of using Voice Dream which is a voice to text app utilising text which is available from Bookshare and Load2Learn.Participating on this pilot will allow students to increase their skills and familiarity in the following areas:
  • Voice Dream
  • Requesting academic text from Bookshare
  • requesting academic text fro Load2Learn
  • Using Strathcloud to access text
  • The use of an itunes app
  • Using dropbox or strathcloud to store text

Prerequisites

Participants must be print disabled students studying at the university of strathclyde to join the pilot. This means, students with a visual impairment, students unable to turn the pages of a book and students who have dyslexia.
