Part of the Study Skills Workshop series, this 1 hour workshop is designed for first year students but may be of interest to all undergraduates wishing to review their current study practices.

It covers some of the key academic practices involved in becoming a reflective self-directing learner. Thinking critically is an essential characteristic of all academic disciplines and this workshop explores how active reading, analysis and self-reflection feed into the critical thinking process.

(PLEASE NOTE: This not a credit bearing course. PhD students should instead consider attending the PG Cert. accredited workshops within the Researcher Development Programme
