This course provides an introduction to using references in your writing, how to present ideas to others, and how to offer evidence to support your own thinking. 

 

 

The course will cover:

 

  • Why, when and how you should reference
  • Referencing styles
  • To better understand why and how others use references
  • How to include direct quotations and paraphrases in your text
