    Yoga nidra or yogic sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed. There is no physical exercise involved, just come along and feel totally relaxed.

Is this course right for me?

Target Audience: Students and Staff

Each of the sessions will be facilitated by an experienced yoga teacher. It is not a physical exercise class, so you don't have to be fit or bendy to try this out. Much of the sessions will be done lying down, so please wear loose comfortable clothing. It is anticipated that you will be able to make all of the dates as numbers for this programme are restricted to 12. It is hoped if there is a positive response, then sessions can be offered on a weekly basis.

This pilot programme will run on the following dates and time.

Tuesday 11th, 18th and 25th of October and Tuesday 1st of November 2016 all at 1.30 pm to 2.00pm

Loose and comfortable clothing. You will be expected to take your shoes off. Yoga mats will be provided.
