Target Audience: Postgraduate Research Students
PG Essentials: Digital Scholarship Skills (PGE:DSS) is a 5 credit course aimed at complementing the skills PhD students will learn during their induction process. The course is designed to develop the skills which support effective scholarly communication including online research, routes to publishing, Open Access and measuring your impact.
There are 5 modules to work through; all of these modules have been designed specifically with the Strathclyde PhD experience in mind, taking into account Strathclyde policy, procedures, processes, opportunities and the environment.

All postgraduate research students are eligible to access the Researcher Development Programme workshops. This workshop can contribute towards the PG Certificate in Researcher Professional Development (PG Cert RPD).
You can find credit and class information in the Researcher Development Programme Handbook and in NEPTUNE (Engineering, HaSS) or SPIDER (Science).
Please check with your department or Supervisor to confirm if you are enrolled on the PG Cert RPD and how many credits you are expected to achieve if you are unsure.
