The programme is designed to offer postgraduates a range of views and activities that will help build both con- fidence and resilience for their PhD and their professional life. We will explore several creative and confidence building tools supported with reflective activities. We will also explore what it means to be authentic and how to build confidence with small and positive steps and not with giant leaps of faith. The key aim of the day will be to create a suite of personal confidence building communication activities for each person to use and refer to on a daily basis to aid both personal and professional development

PG Certificate in Researcher Professional Development

All postgraduate research students are eligible to access the Researcher Development Programme workshops. This workshop can contribute towards the PG Certificate in Researcher Professional Development (PG Cert RPD).

You can find credit and class information in the Researcher Development Programme Handbook and in NEPTUNE (Engineering, HaSS) or SPIDER (Science).

Please check with your department or Supervisor to confirm if you are enrolled on the PG Cert RPD and how many credits you are expected to achieve if you are unsure.
