Target Audience: All University staff

The University Procurement and Sustainability teams have implemented a new process for staff to record their confidential waste uplift requirements, launching Friday 13th October. To encourage a more cost effective and streamlined service, one scheduled uplift day per month has been arranged for the supplier, Shredall, to remove confi waste, which will be shredded onsite. The scheduled uplift day will be the first Tuesday of every month. As such, an online form has been established for users to register their uplift request, which will be consolidated into the first available uplift day. This new form will record the following:

  • Quantity and type of waste receptacle that needs emptied
  • Requests for delivery of new bags, consoles and bins
  • Location of request
  • Requirements for PCI-DSS shredding

This information session will provide staff with an introduction to the new system, it is encouraged that all staff who deal regularly with their department’s confidential waste requirements attend.
