Is this course right for me?
Target Audience: All staff with a role in PG Research Supervision
Academic writing is an essential skill developed during the doctoral journey yet one many students find difficult. How to support these students, who may have very varied needs, can be challenging for new supervisors.
This workshop will support doctoral supervisors to establish productive writing habits for their students and give guidance on providing effective, constructive feedback.
This is a ‘Academic Writing and the Viva Voce Exam’ workshop in the Strathclyde Supervisor Development Programme. As with all workshops in the Strathclyde Supervisor Development Programme it is also open to any member of staff interested in the topic.
** This is an optional module of the Strathclyde Supervisor Development Programme (see link to webpage below) **
