Part of the Study Skills Workshop Series, this 1 hour workshop is designed for first year students but may be of interest to all undergraduates wishing to review their current study practice.

It covers some of the key academic practices involved in becoming a reflective self-directing learner. Introducing the notion of academic literacies, this workshop looks at a range of activities involved in the production of effective writing, including how to plan, structure and methodically edit your writing.

(PLEASE NOTE: This not a credit bearing course. PhD students should instead consider attending the PG Cert. accredited workshops within the Researcher Development Programme
