Cycle in on this day and book a slot to come and have your bike cleaned and maintained. The mechanics will encourage you to fix your own bike as much as possible during the session.
Maintenance activities include:
- cleaning chain and cassette
- measuring chain wear
- adjusting brakes and replacing brake parts
- indexing gears
- cleaning and lubricating moving parts
- tightening loose bolts
- general maintenance advice
This service is entirely free of charge for staff and students of the University of Strathclyde.
