Lexis®Library is a legal database service. Lexis®Library provides full-text access to legal and tax and accountancy information. This includes many UK reported and unreported cases, legislation, and a number of UK legal journals. Commentary includes the Stair Memorial Encyclopaedia and Halsbury’s Laws of England. Material from non-UK jurisdictions is also available.

This is an opportunity to find out about using Lexis®Library in your learning and research. The session will be informal and will cover the following topics:

  • Find a title
  • Searching along the tabs (with and without connectors)
  • Bookshelf – adding sources
  • Bookshelf – browsing and searching
  • My alerts
  • International content

You can bring a laptop or other device if you want to follow along with the demonstration. You can connect to the University’s Eduroam Wi-Fi network from your device.

This training is provided by a LexisNexis Customer Success Manager.

The LexisNexis Customer Success Manager will also offer drop-in session to answer any questions you have about the Nexis or Lexis®Library services. This will be held on 13th February 2020 from 12:30 - 14:00 in the main foyer on Level 3 of the Andersonian Library.)
