Target Audience: Staff who work in a leadership role, or who are interested in developing leadership in learning and teaching within the university

This network is designed to support current, experienced, and emerging leaders within a learning and teaching context. The group will focus on development of leadership skills and through the peer support structure will create and discuss context for the learning and teaching environment, exploring challenges and opportunities with a focus on practical and innovative solutions. The network will make use of formal development input, facilitated peer discussions and network opportunities to facilitate learning and support for participants. Topics that could be considered include leading with influence, programme leadership, leadership of course design, leadership of assessment, leading engagement, leading yourself – though a firm programme will be discussed and decided by the participants.

A key aspect of this group will be the opportunity to benefit from development and peer support to take forward a leadership-based project. The scope of this can be big or small and we can provide support to help you identify a project if need be. It is expected that all participants will take forward a project in the 2019/20 academic year.
