Is this course right for me?
Target Audience: Chancellors Fellows & early career researchers across all faculties
This scheme replaced the previous new grant scheme and offers greater flexibility for early career academics to gain the first grant to set them on the path to research independence. We have secured a wide panel of speakers to cover every aspect of the scheme:
- Our EPSRC regional manager will give an overview of the scheme and talk through eligibility requirements
- Two current grant holders will share their experience on gaining a grant via this scheme
- A selection of senior academics who have sat on grant awarding panels will give us their advice and tips for success
Note; the session is open to all disciplines but will have a particular focus on EPSRC as our major research council however, the scheme guidelines are the same regardless of council
Catering will be provided.
