    Westlaw is a legal database service. Westlaw provides full-text access to legal information. This includes many UK reported and unreported cases, legislation, and a number of UK legal journals. Material from non-UK jurisdictions is also available.

Target Audience: Honours and Postgraduate Students, Academic & Research Staff.

This is an opportunity to refresh your knowledge on Westlaw, learn about the new platform and to answer any questions you may have. The session will be informal and will cover the following topics:

1.            Finding your way round the new Westlaw platform

2.            Searching for information (including cases, legislation, and journal articles)

3.            Personalised features (e.g. favourites, folders, alerts)

 

You can bring a laptop or other device if you want to follow along with the demonstration. You can connect to the University’s Eduroam Wi-Fi network from your device.
