Target Audience: Undergraduate, Postgraduate Students, Academic and Support Staff.
Nexis a powerful research tool which provides international news and business information from a wide range of sources: such as national and regional newspapers from around the world, newswires and web sources.
The training will cover the various search methods using:
· the home search
· advanced searching, and
· power search.
It will also cover:
· setting up alerts and
· sharing information.
You can bring a laptop or other device if you want to follow along with the demonstration. You can connect to the University’s Eduroam Wi-Fi network from your device.
This training is provided by a LexisNexis Customer Success Manager.
(The LexisNexis Customer Success Manager will also offer a drop-in session to answer any questions you have about the Nexis or Lexis®Library services. This will be held on 13th February 2020 from 12:30 - 14:00 in the main foyer on Level 3 of the Andersonian Library.)
