    Practical Law is an online legal ‘know how’ service. Provides resources, such as practice notes, current awareness and standard documents to help with legal practice and providing legal advice. It is integrated with resources on the Westlaw UK service.

Target Audience: Academic and Support Staff, Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students

This informal session is an opportunity to find out about Practical Law. This will include a demonstration on the Practical Law platform and how this might be used in learning and research and in legal practice.

You can bring a laptop or other device if you want to follow along with the demonstration. You can connect to the University’s Eduroam Wi-Fi network from your device.

This training is provided by a Thomson Reuters Customer Trainer.

(The Customer Trainer will also will also offer a drop-in session to answer any questions you have about the Westlaw or Practical Law services. This will be held on 1st April 2020 from 13:00 – 14:00 in the main foyer on Level 3 of the Andersonian Library.)
