Cycling too tough?

If you'd like to cycle in to University but find it too far, too difficult, or just don't fancy being out of breath at the start of the day - an E-Bike could be the thing for you.

The assistance given makes riding a bike much easier - meaning you can travel further and faster while barely breaking a sweat.

Sustainable Travel

As the university works towards its new carbon emission reduction targets we will all need to think more about how we travel. An E-bike represents a great way to have a sustainable and active commute without leaving yourself totally knackered.

Try it for yourself!

The sustainability team have an E-Bike during wellbeing week for staff to try out by having a cycle around some close by cycle paths. We'll head down to Glasgow Green for a loop around some quiet green space then back up to the North end of Campus.

Will you brave montrose street with the battery help?

Delivered By: Sustainable Strathclyde

Prerequisites

You must be able to ride a bike. The bike and helmet will be provided. We'll stick to cycle paths and quiet roads as much as possible but there will be some road cycling so participants must be relatively confident riding on city roads.
