Westlaw is a legal database service. Westlaw provides full-text access to legal information. This includes many UK reported and unreported cases, legislation, and a number of UK legal journals. Material from non-UK jurisdictions is also available.

Advanced Westlaw UK training covers using advanced searching techniques (using search terms and connectors), legislation compare, legislative modifications, key legal concepts, and how to ensure primary sources are accurate and up to date.

Prerequisites

This training assumes that you have some basic knowledge of the Westlaw UK service and can use the main functions to find case law, legislation, journal articles and other content. You will also need to be able to join the WebEx meeting online (details will be sent after registration).
