Introduction to Autism: Autism and Everyday Living

During this informal 1.5 hour session, there will be a short introduction to autism and then we will focus on practical strategies and tools parents and carers can use in their own lives. We will acknowledge the current circumstances autistic parent and carers are facing.

The session will focus on:

• Sensory issues, environment & understanding behaviours
• Language and communication
• Further strategies, resources and signposting

There will then be an opportunity for participants to ask questions.
