The University is establishing a Race Equality Working Group to ensure we support an inclusive environment for Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) students and staff, promote racial diversity across the University and, where required, improve educational and employment outcomes for BME students and staff. The University is committed to centring the voices and views of those with lived experience in its race equality work.
Staff are invited to join this online Race Equality Workshop, to discuss key issues with regard to race equality in Higher Education and priorities for Strathclyde's work in this area. Any staff member with an interest in race equality is invited to attend. The workshop will include opportunities for participants to directly contribute via Zoom focus groups.
