Is this course right for me?
Target Audience: Staff involved in delivering teaching
The pivot to blended and online learning for the current academic semester has involved a number of challenges for staff right across the sector. However, it has been an unique opportunity for Strathclyde's staff to demonstrate all of our values in creating high quality strategies for teaching, learning and assessment to support the student experience.
These 'Transforming Assessment' drop-in sessions are facilitated by staff from the Academic Development team in OSDU and Education Enhancement.
The sessions offer an opportunity each week for staff to come along and seek advice on any aspect of assessment design and delivery. We also encourage staff to come and share questions, ideas or experiences - both what has worked well and where there are further opportunities for improvement. A small team of facilitators will be there to discuss, advise, support, and work alongside you to consider how these approaches might work best for you and your students within your own discipline and context.
While these sessions are somewhat infomal, advance booking is required to secure your place and to receive login details. You can come along for one session or join as many sessions as you wish.
Facilitators: Dr Sean Morrissey, Dr William Hasty, and Dr Katy Savage
