Target Audience: Teaching & Professional Services staff with a relevant role and interest
This workshop has been developed by Education Enhancement to focus on supporting teaching staff to increase student engagement through online collaboration. Particular focus will be given to encouraging participation in group activities via a range of digital tools and tasks.
During a live Zoom session, participants will engage in a number of discursive activities with tutors from various disciplines to share experiences and consider opportunities for collaboration in online learning. Several available tools and strategies will be suggested in order to develop learning activities beyond the session.
The workshop will be facilitated by Learning Technologists from the Education Enhancement Team.
Following the session, participants will be able to:
- Identify opportunities for students to engage in online participation and collaboration;
- Explore technologies that could support engaging online collaborative activities;
- Plan learning activities using suggested tools and strategies;
- Identify training needs and access the range of guidance and support for online and blended learning available at Strathclyde.
