Course Format

Horizon Europe is the European Union’s ninth framework programme of research and innovation, running from 2021 to 2027, with a budget of Euro 95.5 billion.  The United Kingdom is formally associating to Horizon Europe, as part of the trade and cooperation deal signed by the UK and EU at the end of 2020.  UK universities can participate in funded projects in the programme in the same way as organisations from EU member countries.  Information and intelligence from UKRO, based in Brussels, will be provided on the content of Horizon Europe and the opportunities to bid for funding across the programme, including actions with which staff will be familiar from Horizon 2020x, and actions that are new to Horizon Europe.

Learning Objectives

As a result of the webinar, staff of the University will be in a strong position to start or continue preparing their bids for the first calls for proposals under Horizon Europe, expected soon.
