The short session will showcase Leisure Tourism from CABI, a key leisure, tourism and hospitality database. The session will provide a general overview of the content of the database, top tips on usage and how to use some of the functionality and tools available via our subscription.
About this database:
CABI has taken the vast amount of information it has collated from around the world since the 1970s on all aspects of tourism, leisure, recreation and hospitality, as well as on selected aspects of sport and culture, and made it available to researchers, students and practitioners in the Leisure Tourism Database.
Database content includes:
Over 196,000 bibliographic records with detailed keyword (metadata) tagging
Over 10,00 full text documents (journal articles, conference papers, reports)
Over 2,650 eBook chapters from CABI’s renowned tourism book portfolio
News and research updates – over 4,400 searchable articles
Smart Searches that have been prepared by our information experts which help the user get the quickest and best results from searching more than 190,000 records in the Leisure Tourism internet resource
