This session will provide a high level overview of the Fame database with key focus on how the dataset is used for both research and studies. The key areas which will be covered will be:

• Navigation – How to navigate the platform and locate the data required;
• Search – How to create searches to return a list of firms which match the users specific requirements. Fame has over 300 search variables which can be use to create extremely strategic searches;
• Data – An overview of the depth of data available and the two key ways in which a user can export this data;
• Historical Data – The most efficient way to create a time series panel dataset for firms performance over time;
• Analytical Tools – A closer look at the in built analytical tools;
• Q&A session.
