Part of the Keeping well Teaching well series. 

With an increasing amount of work and study taking place entirely online and at home, we are starting to see a blurring of boundaries.  In this session we will take some time to reflect on the relationship between humans, technologyour environments and the boundaries we try to create 

We’ll explore the benefits and challenges of technology on setting boundaries and consider ways that we can consciously adapt our behaviour and use of technology to increase effectiveness and enhance wellbeing.  This facilitated session will draw upon the experiences of participants and provide the opportunity to discuss and support conscious wellbeing. 

Course Outcomes/Objectives;

  • Discuss what is meant by boundaries in relation to working, teaching, and wellbeing 
  • Explore the benefits and challenges of technology for personal/professional boundaries 
  • Consider ways that we can consciously adapt our behaviour and use of technology to set boundaries to work effectively and enhance wellbeing
