Target Audience: Research-Active Staff of the University

This webinar will cover the opportunities for funding for research in the EU €95.5bn Horizon Europe programme (2021-2027) falling within the broad defintion of Official Development Assistance (ODA), namely research concerned with economic development and social welfare in the world’s Lower and Middle Income Countries (LMICs).  Such opportunities in Horizon Europe are of particular importance for UK researchers at a time when UK Government is applying budgetary cuts to funding for ODA-related research, including programmes like GCRF and the Newton Fund.  The areas of research for funding of this type under Horizon Europe are wide-ranging, and the webinar will explore these across the breadth of actions and subject areas of the programme.
