Target Audience: Research, academic, knowledge exchange and teaching staff wishing to increase their digital visibility

Academic publishing is evolving rapidly and researchers can now take advantage of new technologies to enhance their research profiles. A range of new tools are emerging that complement traditional publishing and communication methods. These allow researchers to track their research impact digitally, build an audience for their work, interact with their peers and engage with a non-academic audience directly.

This course is for research, academic, knowledge exchange and teaching  staff who are interested in building their digital research profile and using new online tools to interact with other researchers, potential collaborators and the public.  At the end of this workshop researchers will have:

  • been introduced to a range of online tools
  • planned out an online communication strategy
  • discussed online communication ideas with their peers

**Please note, this course has run previously with the the following title;
