Target Audience: Students and Staff

This course could offer you some skills in how better to respond to the 'ups and downs' of everyday living.

The programme will run over eight 2-hour weekly sessions. In this course, you will learn to cultivate mindfulness through mindfulness practices and cognitive-behavioural exercises. The practices and exercises will help you recognise the habitual thinking and feeling patterns that stop you from living your life to the fullest, and explore ways of stepping out of them. During each session, you are not required to talk about your personal condition, although you are encouraged to participate as much as possible in the practices/exercises and discuss your experience with the teacher and fellow participants.

Please be aware that this programme is intended for people who are generally well. It is not a treatment for any specific physical or psychological condition, and is not suitable for people who are currently experiencing severe physical and/or mental health problems.
