Is this course right for me?
Target Audience: Anyone involved in a committee or working group on aspects of research culture (such as research integrity & ethics; equality, diversity & inclusion; and health & wellbeing)
This is a live in-person event.
Are you leading or a member of a committee / working group on research integrity & ethics, equality, diversity & inclusion, or health & wellbeing? And are you interested to talk about these various dimensions of research culture with others passionate about the topic? Then join us for this networking event!
As members of research culture bodies, we are committed to driving positive practices in our own departments, schools and units, but rarely get the opportunity to share experiences and perhaps even challenges with colleagues in other areas of the University.
This informal networking event aims to bring together those who are active in developing a better research culture in their units so that we can meet, learn from and support each other.
Event Outcomes / Objectives:
Participating in this event will enable you to
- meet colleagues across the University who are involved in similar culture-related committees and groups;
- share tips and good practices that you have come across from your own experience;
- gain support and advice on potential challenges in your committee / group roles;
- start building longer-term relationships with colleagues in equivalent committees / groups in other units to more easily share information and collaborate in the future.
Please note that this event is part of Strathclyde's Research Integrity & Culture Week 2023. You can see the full programme for RI&C Week 2023 here.
