This is a live in-person event. 

Join us for an event on fostering a culture of openness and inclusivity, led by Deputy Associate Principals, Prof Madeleine Grealy, Prof Churnjeet Mahn and Prof Paul McKenna. 

This event will start with presentations from Deputy Associate Principals (DAP) for Research, KE and Innovation as University research leaders, discussing the topics of openness and inclusivity as they relate to their DAP remits. Following this, colleagues working on projects demonstrating best practice in inclusivity and openness will present on their work, to give examples of how these concepts can be adopted and applied to a range of research areas.   

Outcomes/ Objectives;

Participating in this event will enable you to 

  • understand what best practice in inclusivity and openness in research looks like in practical contexts; 
  • learn more about the benefits of inclusivity and openness in research; 
  • hear from, and ask questions to, senior leaders about ongoing activities at Strathclyde relating to inclusivity and openness in research.
