Target Audience: Women and non-binary staff interested in leadership development

This is a live on-campus event.

Join this interactive session to find out more about what leadership programmes for women look like and what benefits they may offer you! 

During the workshop, we will hear talks from current and past participants in different leadership programmes where they will share their experiences and some of the insights and understanding they could take away from their participation. With a short ‘taster’, we will also explore more practically some examples of what kind of activities leadership development may include. 

Finally, the event will conclude with an opportunity to network with other participants and speakers over coffee and tea. 


Course Outcomes/ Objectives

Participating in this event will allow you to:  

  • Find out more about the practical benefits of investing time in leadership development for women and the types of learning you can take away from it; 
  • Learn more about a number of different leadership programmes as well as considerations and opportunities of participating in a women-only initiative; 
  • Meet others interested in developing their leadership skills.

Cancellation Policy 

When applying for a course, you should note that there will be a £50* charge to your Department / School if you do not attend your place on the course. There will be no charge as long as you cancel your booked place before the event or notify our staff at osdu@strath.ac.uk that you can no longer attend.

A Department / School is welcome to send someone else in your place if they wish without incurring a charge, providing that person has the necessary prerequisites for the course. In the case of courses split over more than one day, you are expected to attend ALL parts of the course.

*This is the standard charge for cancellation or non-attendance of a course of 1-day duration or less. For some courses, there may be a higher cancellation charge and if this is the case you will be advised of this at the time of booking.
