Impactful Research – How linking your work to the SDGs in Pure can benefit your career 

This is a live online event. 

The Pure system holds the university’s records of research projects, publications, and activities, etc. that are linked to individual achievements. A new feature in Pure allows individuals to link all their work to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which can lead to great benefit for researchers through increased visibility and encouraging collaborations.  

This short training session will look at what Pure is, what the SDGs are, how to update Pure and link to the SDGs, and how reporting, visibility and collaborations can be facilitated through having up-to-date Pure content. 

Course Outcomes/ Objectives;

  • Learn how to update Pure profiles and content 
  •  Learn about SDGs and their importance 
  •  Learn about the importance of accurate and up-to-date Pure profiles and work 
  •  Learn about reporting, profile visibility, and collaboration opportunities

PG Certificate in Researcher Professional Development

All postgraduate research students are eligible to access the Researcher Development Programme workshops. This workshop can contribute towards the PG Certificate in Researcher Professional Development (PG Cert RPD).

You can find credit and class information in the Researcher Development Programme Handbook and in NEPTUNE (Engineering, HaSS) or SPIDER (Science).

Please check with your department or Supervisor to confirm if you are enrolled on the PG Cert RPD and how many credits you are expected to achieve if you are unsure.
