Target Audience: This course is suitable only for PGR students registered in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
This session will prepare you to write a successful grant proposal or a fellowship application. We will discuss the different parts of a good proposal and funders' expectations. More specifically, we will cover issues involved in designing the proposal, from considering your research interests and the funders’ priorities to paying attention to the methodological design, potential to make an original contribution, how to address the issues of impact and budget planning. In the second part, we will concentrate on a list of possible funders for applications made by early career academics and look at some of their funding Calls.
