Is this course right for me?
Target Audience: Staff
First Responder Training is a 6-hour course designed to equip University staff with the skills to take a trauma informed disclosure of sexual violence. The aim of the training is to provide context of sexual violence in Scotland, the law around sexual crimes and the impact of trauma on survivors. By the end of the training, participants should feel confident in taking disclosures and it should minimise the amount of people a survivor has to tell their story to.
