Target Audience: Staff (Academic & Professional Services)

During the course of this workshop, we will achieve the following aims.

  • raise awareness of the barriers to learning that students with ADHD may face
  • inform you about the support and equipment available on campus
  • support you think about what you can to do minimise or remove barriers to learning for students with ADHD

This workshop is an introduction to neurodiversity and particularly, ADHD. This interactive session will combine presentation, discussion and exercises using case studies.

The workshop will take two hours with a short break in the middle. Slides will be made available to participants. If you have any access requirements, please contact Andy Grace Edwards (a.edwards@strath.ac.uk)

The workshop will be held on the following dates and times.

  • Wednesday 19th March, 2pm (ONLINE via zoom)
  • Thursday 20th March, 2pm (Wellbeing Room, TL466)

In person sessions will be held within the Disability & Wellbeing Service. We are based on the fourth floor of the Learning & Teaching Building, in the Mary Dunn Wing. There is level access from Rottenrow and lift access from the ground floor entrance on Richmond Street.
