This is a live, on-campus event.

This workshop will explore how issues around equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) can be integrated within research projects from their inception, ensuring higher quality and more diverse representation within Strathclyde’s research profile. We will hear from colleagues who have, or who are actively working towards integrating EDI within their research and use a workshopped approach to explore how such considerations can be embedded across the research project life cycle, including in research design, responding to funder requirements, and developing public engagement. This workshop will be led by Faculty Associate Deans for EDI Dr Elaine Webster and Dr Lorraine Gibson.

This event will be run as an on-campus workshop. For those who are unable to attend, materials from the workshop can be made available upon request, via email to elaine.webster@strath.ac.uk. Further sessions (including online sessions) can be organised if there is sufficient interestplease get in touch with Elaine Webster if you would be interested in subsequent sessions.

  • Explore how EDI can be embedded across the stages of the research journey.
