Target Audience: Faculty members, academic administrators, curriculum designers, and student representatives

During the month of May, Ranjit Das (Senior Teaching Fellow) from the Strathclyde Business School will lead a series of faculty-centric workshops. These sessions will utilise the AdvanceHE Anti-Racist Curriculum Framework alongside faculty specific toolkits/resources.

Objectives:

  • Understand the concept of decolonisation and its importance in higher education
  • Explore ways to critically examine and deconstruct Eurocentric biases in course content and teaching practices
  • Develop strategies to incorporate diverse perspectives, knowledge systems, and pedagogical approaches
  • Reflect on the challenges and opportunities in decolonising the curriculum
