Target Audience: All Staff

To celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week you are invited to an in person, all staff event with three fantastic guest speakers.

What to expect:

9.30 to 10.00: Arrive and enjoy some Hot Breakfast Rolls with tea and coffee and a chance to network before the presentations begin.

10.00 to 10.20: A short session looking at Mental Health Awareness with Emma Boa, Senior Manager from SAMH (Scottish Action for Mental Health) looking at mental health, common conditions and how to support and get help.

10.20 to 10.40: An interesting overview of Sleep and Mental Health. We have Dr Leanne Flemming from Strathclyde Psychology, an expert on sleep health to look at the link between sleep and mental health and to give some tips and strategies to support your sleep health.

10.40 to 11.00: We have Vicki Kennedy, Head of Operations from Strathclyde Sport to give us an overview of what’s available to support your Active Health and explore the link between movement and good mental health.

An exciting and interesting agenda presented by a wide range of guest speakers who are experts in their field. This will be a popular event so please book early to avoid disappointment.
