The mindfulness based stress reduction programme (MBSR) is designed to help you learn new ways of managing difficult physical sensations, feelings and moods. The core skill that you will learn is mindfulness, a way of paying attention, on purpose, non judgementally to what goes on in the present moment in your body, mind and the world around you. Mindfulness can enable you to see things differently. It can increase your sense of personal confidence and of having more options and more strength to face the different challenges in your life.

Prerequisites

This course is open to those who attend the orientation session, which is on Wednesday the 1st of February 2017 at 1pm to 3pm. Enrolment on to the full programme will take place after the orientation session, participants attending the orientation session will be given the link to the booking page for the full programme. Please book a place on the orientation session or put your name on the waiting list if it is full on the link below. Dates for the full programme are as follows: Wednesday 8th February Wednesday 15th February Wednesday 22nd February Wednesday 1st March Wednesday 8th March Wednesday 15th March Wednesday 22nd March Wednesday 29th March All at 1pm to 3pm except for the full day session on the 15th of March which is 09.30am to 3pm
