The module is valued at 20 Credits at SCQF level 11, leading to a Post Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching Higher Education (PGCLTHE)

Learning Objectives (LOs)

Having completed this module, participants will be able to:

  1. Engage with a Pedagogical community of practice
  2. Plan scholarship projects
  3. Evaluate teaching and learning practices 
  4. Disseminate scholarship outputs 
  5. Identify future development needs in learning and teaching
  6. Situate learning and teaching practices within a body of existing literature and evidence

  • Critical thinking and reflection
  • The ability to identify and respond to professional development needs through career planning
