The aim of this session is to enable content authors to use the Microsoft Office Accessibility Assistant to test their Office documents for accessibility issues.
The Microsoft Office Accessibility Assistant is a feature of common Office applications including Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft OneNote. The tool can detect a variety of accessibility issues and provide solutions to fix these. This provides a good foundation for digital accessibility.
By the end of this session, you will be able to:
- use the Microsoft Office Accessibility Assistant to identify accessibility issues in common Microsoft Office applications, such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint
- apply recommended fixes to address some common accessibility issues
