    This weekly one-hour workshop will use journaling and grounding approaches to address anxiety. Through reflective practice we will learn ways of being more present and compassionate with ourselves and integrate this into our everyday lives.

Target Audience: Open to anyone

This weekly one-hour workshop will use journaling and grounding approaches to address anxiety. Through reflective practice we will learn ways of being more present and compassionate with ourselves and integrate this into our everyday lives. Students are expected to attend all four sessions.  

Week 1 

We will look at how grounding can ease anxiety and practice an exercise together. We will introduce the group to the gratitude journaling approach. 

 

Week 2 

We will open with a grounding exercise. We will look at how journaling can shape brain connections and thought patterns. We will reflect together on our experiences of journaling in our day-to-day lives.  

 

Week 3 

We will open with a grounding exercise and explore our experiences of journaling, including supporting each other with any challenges. 

 

Week 4 

We will open with a grounding exercise and reflect together on the impact of journaling on our wellbeing, particularly experiences of anxiety. We will consolidate what the group has learned from our time together.
