The course will examine and explore the theory around resilience but will also incorporate practical techniques and therapies such as mindfulness and meditation so that you can develop the knowledge and the skills needed to boost resilience in yourself and others.
- Week 1: Introduction to resilience, looking at goal setting and exploring the use of meditation.
- Week 2: Awareness of feelings and a look at stress. Explore the use and benefits of mindfulness.
- Week 3: Emotional regulation – learn techniques to manage emotions in an effective way. Turning negative thoughts into positive.
