Target Audience: Staff interested in anti-racist leadership - particularly those in management / leadership roles

In September 2023, the Race Equality Steering Group was established. One of its key strands of work is 'challenging racism'. Racism and power are deeply intertwined, so this space will provide a space to explore how staff in leadership roles can leverage their influence to support anti-racist activity within the University.

This session will support staff to

  • Develop an understanding of how racial identity is constructed.
  • Develop an understanding of systemic racism.
  • Explore concepts of anti-racism and leadership.
  • Develop confidence as an anti-racist leader.

There will be no charge to your department if you cancel or are unable to attend.

If you have any specific access requirements for the session, please contact equality@strath.ac.uk.
